Katharine has a beautiful voice and she is a beautiful girl. I don't care for the songs that are on the contemporary side. I don't like singing with to much voice fluctuating (or rungs). The slower songs are very good. I hope the next album is less contemporary. I would just get songs I like.

Elliott Yamin

Elliott is a wonderful singer, his voice is absoutley beautiful. I am still blown away that he didn't make it to the top two on American Idol. But that's ok, he is a beautiful person inside & out, AND........... THE MAN CAN SING!!

I think he should be listened to with candle light, a glass of wine, big fluffy rug & a fireplace. Give him a listen if you like those things.

Way to go Elliott, I was rooting for you then (on American Idol) & and I am rooting for you now. Go Elliott!

Southern rocker Bo Bice entered the big leagues upon finishing as runner-up on the fourth season of `American Idol,' but his debut does not measure up to expectations. Although he has the backing of music industry exec Clive Davis, his new image and sound are as transparent as half-empty glass of water.

Bice tries to pull off the pop-rocker profile on tracks like "U Make Me Better" and the Chad Kroeger-penned "You're Everything," but they fall flat despite the southern spin in Bice's vocals. Lead single and title track "The Real Thing" is melodically catchy but the lyrics are bland to the core. Bought this disc thinking it was music for some reason. I don't know if D is big enough to rate a jabber disc but he is a nice guy so I cut him some slack. Best renting this from the library though.....

American Idol Season 5 Encores

Season 5 brought some people with real star quality, and it's great to have a piece of each person's talent here on one CD. The song choices were good. It left me wishing for more...I wish they'd make another with new selections. I can't imagine anyone's being sorry he or she purchased this CD. It will be one that I keep handy!

I downloaded "A different World" the minute it was available and never gave a thought to the rest of this album until driving home one night I heard "I'll Walk" that song was so beautiful I decided to check out the rest of the album. Every song in fantastic, if was possible to "wear out" a CD, this one would be, because it has been played NON STOP, with certain songs like "Carolina Blue" being repeated at least 4 times.

I highly recommend this cd. I love almost every song on it! I keep listening to it over and over. It is really one of the best cd's I've listened to in a long time!
