This was the first Muse album I heard, and was blown away. I could not stop listening to Blackout. It is the most amazing song I have heard in a long time. It is subtle song with Russion sound to it. The band is very inovative. They know how to make each song different and insteresting. That whole album made a Muse fan forever. It made me go out and buy Black Holes. It too is amazing and brillant. Apocalpse Please, the first song is intense and never lets go. And the album ends with Ruled By Secrecy, which is a very soft and pretty. Matt Belamy's voice is soft and caresses each lyric. This albums stands as one of my all time favs.

This is the best cd i own the songs are just so beutiful and unique i listen to them every day they are definetly songs made for the twilight series please buy this cd matts voice is gorgeous the melodys and guitars are breathtaking so intersting and moving definetly the best rock music ever heard go and buy all thier other cds the bomb!!!

Showbiz

Back when Muse were younger they belonged to Maddona's label Maverick. Which made this more poppy. But it's still very good. The only problem is the arrangement of the album.

1. Sunburn 10/10. Great piano ostinato (AKA riff) and evil vocals from Matt. The chorus is also very evil and never tires throughout the song.

2. Muscle Museum 10/10. Very intersting guitars (they sound Italian but I could be wrong) intersting vocals 'I have played in every toilet, but you just want to spoil it' and the mix of vocals and guitar at the end is pure genius. Sounds very epic.

3. Filip 7/10. I assume that this is Maverick's doing because it starts off very poppy. The chorus is okay and there is a point where it goes slow ... Read More:

Been desperately shopping around for new music for quite a while, since I got a new car, and needed to update the music I housed in there. This album is perfect. Heard them on Pandora Radio as a recommendation for people who like Placebo and the Smashing Pumpkins. And so it is. Bought it immediately as my first Amazon digital download, because I couldn't wait to run out to the store and buy the physical copy. So now all I need to do is buy a blank cd to burn it on, and bring it along with me on all my drives. Hurrah for finding great new music.

Come on haters. Lay off. Interpol is one of those bands that you either LOVE or you Hate/Listen to casually but diss every once and awhile.I love every Interpol album, how could you not? It seems like they design songs with one thing in mind: how good the song will sound. This may be an obvious goal when writing music, but how come so many "indie" bands have songs that don't have epic build ups/catchy hooks/mysteroius yet emotional lyrics/ and a bassist with a moustache? Seroiusly, this album rules! First song..amazing..gotta love when Sam goes crazy on those ?two? snare drums. Haarp CD/DVD Set

This is the second live album Muse have produced and it is EXCELLENT. The sound quality is superb, the recording work is beautiful and the band as always never disappoint during their live performances.
The only complaint I have is that they omitted the songs Bliss and Citizen Erased however I imagine including those songs in an already blistering 2.5 hour set would have been a bit too much for the band. Highly recommend it.

A Weekend in the City

Now, I loved Silent Alarm as much as anybody else. Bloc Party became one of my very favorite new bands after listening to that album. The sparse, spiky guitars, persistent drumming, and melodic vocals made for a brilliant album that hearkened back to the punk and post-punk movements of the 70s and 80s. A Weekend In The City, Bloc Party's follow-up, is a very different animal altogether. The guitar sound is roughly the same, but the vocals have a softer, almost blurry quality to them, the drums might as well have been drum machines (but they are still amazing), and the song content is darker and more melancholy.
