I'm sorry, I love this band but this album ain't the greatest. Only 6 tracks, 7 if you count the incredibly annoying track at the end. They give you 1-6 and then 13 blank tracks and then add a track at 20. I HATE it when bands do this. Do you really think that by making your album LESS LISTENABLE you'll be attracting fans? Its the same way with Carnavas in that they add 2 minutes of dissonant noise to the end of what is probably the best track on the album. I guess THAT one's not going in my ipod. It's just so juvenile and I have to call bands out on it. And there are MANY bands that still do this and need to be told NO!

Our Love to Admire

I became interested in Interpol when I heard Evil on the radio ... and I became hooked. I bought Antics and loved it, so when this album came out, I bought it instantly.

I do not know too much about music. I tend to like a song and then buy the cd (which seems to happen very rarely). I like the dark, yet humorous sound of this album. It is one of the few cds I can listen to repeatedly without ever tiring of it. The first 3 songs are my favorite, but Wrecking Ball and The Lighthouse are a great way to end the cd. It is an interesting sound with thoughtful lyrics, yet a little dark. And that is exactly what I want.

Interpol has never disappointed me ... and I doubt they ever will. Highly reccomend.

Wincing the Night Away

I loved their first two records and I've gone to one of their shows (they were awesome), so I made sure to give this record a long time to warm up on me. Of course, I loved the single, I had very high hopes for this record. I didn't like it so much when I first listened through the record, but I thought that I would grow to love it over time. I've listened through it several times since then, and I still can't see why this would be considered a better record than Oh, Inverted World or Chutes Too Narrow. When compared to a lot of other bands out there, Wincing... is far better than anything most current bands have ever done. We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank

This is a great CD...I bought it for the song "Dashboard"- the song is awesome...Fire it up is also a pretty good song. I would say that it is worth getting this CD, especially since the songs really aren't played on the radio. I have heard "Dashboard" a few times on the radio, which is what peeked my interest in this CD. I have Modest Mouse's other CD (Good News for people who love bad news), so when I heard the song on the radio, I immediately recognized it as Modest Mouse. If you are a Modest Mouse fan, you should certainly buy this CD!

This album is okay, but it's highly overrated. The best and only really great Spoon album, as far as I can tell, is Girls Can Tell. Please make an album like that again.

A Weekend in the City

This album is solid from front to back. They strike a great balance between hard, mellow, and rock. Many of the songs are very catchy and easy to listen too. Is it their best album, maybe not but it is still a wonderful album. I look forward to following this bang as they grow because they have some real talent.

Cease to Begin

Band of Horses is a band that you can easily fall in love with. Theyre all skinny bearded boys who sing in falsetto and play beautiful post rock country songs. However, this album, lacks the generosity that the previous S/T album gave. I would strongly urge you, reader, to listen to that one above this record.

Great music. I bought this CD after I bought Cease to Begin by the same artist. The two CDs by Band of Horses have been a regular in my CD player ever since. I highly recommend Band of Horses.

Zeitgeist

There's nothing to find here even close to the quality of any previous Smashing Pumpkins Album. United States has got to be the worst track I've ever heard. But a lot of great bands have had that bad album someplace. I hope the pumpkins get back into the studio to record something that rocks. This one will find some fans, and others will leave it behind as I will.
