Really enjoy listening to this album. Listening to it from start to finish, it really comes together. Good recording quality for your hi-fi. There's a few really cool classic songs. Overall not perfect but very good and worth the purchase.

I think it's safe to say this is one of the most ambitious projects in hip-hop history. It's a double-album, which has done before, but it's essentially two solo albums: Speakerboxx would be Big Boi's, and The Love Below would be Andre's. I'm sure that has been done before as well, but how about this for you: this is The White Album (because it's two solo projects merged into one, as was the Beatles' world-famous double - come on, George and Ringo had five songs between them. It's a John v. Paul thing); Songs in the Key of Life (in that even the lesser songs add to the album's scope and size, and like Songs it sure has scope and size); Sign o' the Times (in that it's uncompromisingly eccentric); and London Calling (in that there are many clean ... First of all, I have been a fan of Pharrell Williams since his very early production days being the face of The Neptunes production team. Back in '99 in N.O.R.E's "Superthug" is the first time I ever saw one half of the men behind The Neptunes. Up until that point, only Timbaland captured me with his beat making. Since that day hearing and seeing "Superthug" I was a huge fan of The Neptunes.
It was The Neptunes, then N.E.R.D., and then Pharrell as a solo artist. I loved his individuality he brought into the hip-hop game. There was no one like him. And now, I don't know if it is because he is such a trend setter or he himself as transformed in the "pop star" image that embodies him, but Pharrell no longer gives me that same ... Read More:

Modern day Samson, after cutting off his braids Ludacris may have been thought to have lost his strength. The latest album Release Therapy contains all of Luda's charisma, personality, energy and efforts of prior albums with an increase of maturity and consciousness. Opening the LP with "Warning (Intro)" as a one verse insertion. Highlighted by horns accompanied by simmering slow track and galloping highs on "Grew Up A Screw Up" featuring Young Jeezy for hard edge hustler's theme. "Money Maker" featuring Pharrell is for the ladies and has exotic rhythms for a stripper's movement or lap dance. A perfect follow-up "Girls Gone Wild" target the ladies with upbeat dance tempo with the same effects produced by the Neptunes. Holding down southern roots on "Ultimate Satisfaction" featuring ... Everything's in it: gangsters, love story, great actors, exceptionnal musicians with Andre 3000, Big Boi, Patty Lavelle, among others. The sound tracks are really good, Outkast beeing lifted by that southern jazz heritage.
We loved it here in Geneva, Switzerland...... Go for it!

On track number six, Jay-Z calls himself the "kingpin of the ink pen." That's an incredible one-liner, but why would he say that if he doesn't write down his lyrics? Oh, the complexity of the Jigga Man. "The Black Album" was supposed to be Jay-Z's last album, but, like people who divorce because of two or three trivial problems, many celebrities do not take retiring seriously. Having said that, this album was well received by the public. It did not reach the success of, say, "The Blueprint", but it did very well considering all. I definitely enjoyed this album because of Hov's honest yet effective delivery, the experimental and creative production, the guest appearances (John Legend, Usher, Chrisette Michelle, Beyonce'), and the awesome lyrics.
"Show Me What You Got" was the first ... Read More:

Gotta admit that I knew very little about Mrs. Nasir Jones aka Kelis even after her storm of a hit "Milkshake" shook the pop charts a few years ago. I always thought she was HOT, but that was about it. Well, after doing some music shopping for my significant other whom prefers rap and r&b, I came across this little gem and was pleasantly surprised. The production on most of the songs on this disk were absolutely stellar. And as I listened I fell in love with Kelis' electic style. Her voice is non-conventional as far as your typical r&b diva goes, but extremely sexy. And although not a strong singer, she swoons in a way that makes you feel her words. This is a must have for those of you who love to unwind by shaking your groove thang!!!

They are in my opinion the greatest Hip-Hop group to come out of the south and one of the greatest period. This album is hot from beginning to end. It's their third album and third straight classic. They proved long ago with several other artist in that time that the south does have lyricist. If you are tired of that club happy crap that's coming out of the south right now, then go back and get the classics that made it possible for those songs to be heard.
