Yes this album is a little different from what brought N.E.R.D. crashing into the hip hop scene. But with talent and creativity of the Neptunes steering the wheel behind this project, you know you won't hear the same sound twice. This is a great album and creative reaproach their sound. Give it a chance and an open mind and you just might like it.

Just like others, when I saw the "Hot Damn" video by the Clipse and the "Frontin'" video with Pharrell and Jay-Z, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this. I remember buying it the sunday before it was supposed to come out. To tell you the truth, I wasn't very happy with this album.

Production is okay at best. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo do a decent job keeping the production together, like as I mentioned earlier, the song "Frontin'". Also the Busta Rhymes song "Light Your [...] On Fire" carries a nice beat. But songs like "Popular Thug" with Nas and Kelis, and "Blaze Of Glory" is not what I expected from this duo.

To my surprise, when I first heard this cd, on amazon, I liked a few of the songs. I bought the cd, I listened to the whole thing, I was addicted to it. It is very different. Very poppy,with different sounds to it. I think that Justin will have a bigger carrer as a solo artist then in a boy band. I recommend this cd to anyone who likes music like Michael Jackson or Prince.

El tratado ritmico en la programación y loops es impresionante,definitivamente lo recomiendo es un gran album,la composición es muy buena...el album fluye muy facilmente de principio a fin.

The new millenium's punkfunkster's are back with an even better infusion of hiphop, rock, R&B and a House beats, rhythum's and riffs. Eventhough, Pharrell has said he hates house music he has a lot of house in him. This is a clubheads dream with All The Girls Standing In the Line For THe Bathroom, a hook that just won't quick and is sure to send crowds to the dancefloor. This is just one of the chorus hooks that are present throughout this project that will your mind will repeat after listening to this joint. You just got to love the innovation, energy and free spirit nature of this project. Pharrell, Chad are simply some of the hottest producer's on the scene and it is evident with this project; I would be honored to work with such creativity.

Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor

This is definitely in my top 5 rap albums ever. The entire cd is solid all way through. Lupe's lyricism, wordplay, and storytelling make me listen to this album over and over, which is something I usually can't do with a cd. Although I gave the album 5 stars, there were a few things I didn't like, which don't affect the rating much: the intro track would've been cooler with a verse, and I didn't care for the American Terrorist song much. I can see why people would like that song, though, it's just not my kind of song. Also, the outro track is tiring; it's cool if you knew Lupe and you are listening to hear him shout your name, but otherwise, this last track is just skippable - or just don't put it on your iPod to save space. Otherwise, the other 13 tracks are perfection to me.

Kingdom Come

On track number six, Jay-Z calls himself the "kingpin of the ink pen." That's an incredible one-liner, but why would he say that if he doesn't write down his lyrics? Oh, the complexity of the Jigga Man. "The Black Album" was supposed to be Jay-Z's last album, but, like people who divorce because of two or three trivial problems, many celebrities do not take retiring seriously. Having said that, this album was well received by the public. It did not reach the success of, say, "The Blueprint", but it did very well considering all. I definitely enjoyed this album because of Hov's honest yet effective delivery, the experimental and creative production, the guest appearances (John Legend, Usher, Chrisette Michelle, Beyonce'), and the awesome lyrics.

Graduation

After experiencing disappointment with Kanye's previous effort of Late Registration, I had little to no expectations for this album. Of course, The College Dropout was an instant classic when released, but this album tops it. While Late Registration was spotty with the great and the outright bad, this album is a gem from start to finish. It's one of the few albums I can play all the way through without wanting to skip songs. The standouts (five out of five stars) of the album are "Good Morning", "Stronger", "Good Life", "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Flashing Lights". The rest are no less than four to four and a half stars. I think Kanye has finally found his style and groove and I can't wait for his next album.

The latest album Release Therapy contains all of Luda's charisma, personality, energy and efforts of prior albums with an increase of maturity and consciousness. Opening the LP with "Warning (Intro)" as a one verse insertion. Highlighted by horns accompanied by simmering slow track and galloping highs on "Grew Up A Screw Up" featuring Young Jeezy for hard edge hustler's theme.
