I don't have much to say of this CD. It rocks, but it's not their best one. They have great songs in there, like "Muscle Museum" and "Sunburn".
But there's one thing: no matter what people say, I just can't see anything in Muse that sounds like Radiohead. I do think that they have totally different styles.
Anyway... It's an awesome first album for an awesome band.

This is the Best MUSE's album to me. I started to like MUSE when I first listened to "Space Dementia". I recomend this album to everybody who likes good music.
Release Date April 01, 2008
This is quite possibly the best concert video I have ever seen. The guys play many of my favorite songs and play them rather excellently!!
I would recommend this to not only every muse fan, but also to every true music fan.
This is musical artisanship at it finest!!
Ever-slightly, the fab 3 begin what hopefully will not be a permanent creative decent. They excel at putting together dynamic albums showcasing their bombastic brilliance, pop-rock anguish, and heavy-hitting melodics with little throw-away, and their latest was no exception. Continuing to tweak a formula upward mainly from Absolution however, presents for the first time the band blatantly ripping themselves off. Although I initially thought it was the dance-floor disco vibe which fattened the disc up, they actually pull that off rather well, like anything the band really strives for. Instead, it is the subtle extinguishing of creativity which resides throughout the disc that brings it slightly down.

...the small transition between the perfection of "Origin of Symetry" and the very gradual downhill slope of "Absolution" showed Muse with a live CD known as "Hullabaloo" which showed some of the B-Sides and rarities of the band...although they were nothing special the live versions were impressive and they craved me getting more...
...then I heard the song "Dead Star"...and it wowed me...by far one of the best Muse songs to date...the only problem was it was incredibly rare to find as it was only released as an EP in France and Japan (thank you so much)...
...but I'll review the tracks now:
Dead Star 10/10: Amazing from the first heavy riff to the epic chorus...this song doesn't need explaining...it can all be heard... ... Read More:

there was no album book and when I asked them for it they simply said some come with it and some dont. It should have been labled "no album book". Was factory sealed and came some-what fast.
Release Date April 19, 2005
I bought this AND Burning Skies, only to discover they are the same identical DVD.
As pointed out elsewhere, the DVDs contain absolutely NO Muse music.
I would like to know whether Muse get any royalties from these DVDs, because their fans are being ripped off. The DVD covers are totally misleading and should state that there is no Muse on these DVDs.
Release Date October 04, 2000
A very so-and-so collection! Host, Forced In and Do We Need This are all great B-side tracks (Do We Need This is here featured in a rare live version), and also Filip, one of the greatest tracks off Showbiz, is included in a rare live version. That's the good stuff.
On the other hand, Pink Ego Box, Coma, Yes Please and Agitated (this is the rare studio version) are rather dull B-sides, mediocre at the best. And the remixes of Sunburn are even worse, because these with great certainty will have no appeal what-so-ever for common Muse-fans.
All in all, this is not worth the price. Collectors will wanna buy this for the rare studio version of Agitated and the live versions of Filip and Do We Need This, but others would be better off to go collect ... Read More:

By all, I mean me and my two kids. I am 66 and first purchase was Be Bop A Lula by Gene Vincent and that is a good enough measure of me, my daughter is 35 and still enjoys the Doors, my son is 24 and Mark E. Smith's The Fall is the best band in the world - whatever its personnel consists of at any given time. I tell you this because if Sawdust is acceptable to the three of us it should go down well with the majority. Most of all, the band members are a tight team rather each performing a little bit apart from the rest. Distinctive enough to stand out from the here today, gone tonight rubbish ensembles - the CD is well worth my money.
