This is the first CD I bought of the dixie chicks, and nothing compares to this album. It's amazing and I love every song. My favorite song on this album is "Fly", the lyrics are wonderful. This CD is a great cd to sing to in the car.

I love having this in the car. Every song is great to sing or hum along with and the talented girls score with the energy shifts and souring talent. I am pleased to have another of their offerings in my collection. Wise and thoughtful, sweet and simple, it's ALL good

Taking the Long Way

A brilliant album which takes the Dixie Chicks in a slightly new direction musically, appealing not just to Country fans but across the whole spectrum.
All the fans will have a copy already but for anybody new to the band I would just say don't hesitate-this is sensational!
"Not Ready To Make Nice", especially if you know the history,must be one of the most powerful and evocative anthems of the last 30 years, up there with the likes of "Bat Out Of Hell" and "Total Eclipse Of The Heart".
This album marks the Chicks' first serious attempt at songwriting. If they can maintain the standard of "Not Ready..." it would put them on the level of the legendary Jim Steinman.

Top of the World Tour

I love love love this cd. This is my second copy of this cd. I wore the first one out. They are truly amazing. I hope you can also watch " Shut up and Sung." It is wonderful. The girls are wonderful. I feel like I have a bond with them. And I can't wait to see what they have for us next :)

I returned this product because it was 3 songs of the CD. I paid $13 and thought I was getting the entire CD. Gave it a 2 star because I was able to return the product hassle-free.

One of the most enjoyable concerts ever. The Chicks-as usual-are near-perfect vocally and musically as they take us through all the songs from the (then) new album "Home" plus 4 older tracks.
Impossible to pick out highlights as all 16 songs are sensational in their own way.
Some entertaining chat from Natalie,Emily and Marti. Also a nice touch as Natalie introduces the band individually.
Audience participation creates a great atmosphere.
This production is so good it's almost unbelieveable.

Our family just bought the "Shut Up and Sing" Dvd and we were blown away. We love Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss and other contemporary country, but I don't know how we could have missed this amazing band. We are buying every Dixie Chicks cd they've recorded not only because we love the music, in addition they have character and are willing to stand up and be counted. Courage should be rewarded. We'll do our part.

I own many Dixie Chicks CD's and DVD's and proud to say they have a big part in my existing music library. It was terrible how politics could even dominate the music world, especially affecting some of the best performers on the circuit. In addition, the many southern bible thumper radio stations who joined the politics should be ashamed of themselves. Had I lived in the south I would have turned your stations off for good after what you did to these girls.

At any rate, I was thrilled with the results of the music rewards ceremony winnings by these ladies. I think the people of our nation have spoken more than once over the past few years how they feel about nasty politics.
