I ordered this DVD for my sons birthday back in mid July. When it came it would not play in the DVD player. I emailed, the original response I got was to see if it played in the computer. I didn't purchase it to play on the computer, I purchased it for the DVD player. I was told I could ship it back for a refund. I asked about a shipping label and a replacement, and was told a replacement would be mailed to be by July 31st. Still no replacement! And when I email, I get no response. Very disappointed! My son is still waiting to see the Lion King for his birthday!

This is better than "Oswald The Lucky Bunny" (Wich Walt Disney STOLE for the design for Mickey!). It is just simple slapstick but that is all you really need in a Roger Rabbit cartoon. In the third cartoon is where the problems started, a five second spoof of Jaws caused Disney to stop creating those shorts. In all the cartoons, if you have a good VCR you will find several hidden images
Tummy Trouble 1) Atomic Hair Splitter says made in germany
2) Roger falling through ceiling - cut-outs change
3) Roger coliding with old lady - Old lady beats up Roger
Roller Coaster Rabbit
Couldn't find any
Trail Mix-up 1) Roger spitting out bees - Bees look like certain Disney characters

My almost-three year old loves this movie and watches it repeatedly. After all, there's a cuddly mouse doing people things, there's cats, and about half the movie consists of chases of one sort or another. There's also a lot of seamless and convincing animation (except for the "talking" mouths on the cats, which looks goofy). Any fans of E.B. White's book Stuart Little will be wise to avoid the movie, as they have nothing in common except the existence of a mouse-sized boy. It's as if the Hollywood folks made the movie first, and then decided to put a famous name on it, without any care as to the actual words in the book. It's too bad. The movie's plot is mostly fine for kids, who haven't learned to watch critically yet or expect self-consistency, coherence, ... Read More:

A very nice follow up to the origional. I would definitely recommend this to both the young and old in your household. This movie stars many great actors (both in person and voiced) including Michael J. Fox, Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie, Melanie Griffith, James Woods and Brad Garrett.

Some of you reviewer guys out there should lighten up a little, already. This movie's for the kids & would make a great Halloween treat and/or Xmas stocking stuffer.
I really enjoyed the film. It featured nice, even refreshing, kids (who weren't obnoxious acting L.A. brats), a beautiful Mom, veteran actors Terence Stamp & BBC's Nathaniel Parker ("Inspector Lynly"), whose rather cold good looks fit the "Ghostly Master's" role perfectly. I had never seen Eddie Murphy's prior work, but this movie has suggested I might have been missing something. I liked the positive, multi-racial orientation of the film, the lack of graphic violence & "F" words--and just over all good, kid & family friendly feeling of this fun movie.
