I got this on recommendation from a friend. Although I like Country Western music in the older styles of Willie Nelson and George Jones, I was kind of turned off by this one. I just found the lyrics to be rather silly and juvenile and although Toby has a good voice and can play guitar well, it just was not to my liking. I would recommend later releases like Unleashed and Shock'n Y'all which are much stronger CD's of his and have more bang for the buck.

This is very odd. In 1998 Garth Brooks had success when he put out a box set with a similiar theme. However for some artists that kind of treatment doesn't work and it falls flat. I like Toby Keith but this box set is just a way for a record company to make money buy repackaging three CD's (None of which are any good or have any worth) and make an extra buck. It's just sad.

Toby Keith is just pure country fun. I personally don't think he is any great talent but I like him anyway. So what. He's entertaining. When I just want to kick back, hang out with friends and have fun Toby Keith is perfect. How could you not have a good time singing along to songs like Stays in Mexico, Get Drunk and be Somebody, I Love this Bar...
