While Ottmar has stepped away from the recent minimalism of his 2007 Grammy nominated solo album One Guitar, you still sense the high resolution, beautiful clarity, and live combo dynamic. It's a layered recording, with the multiple guitars, basses, keyboards & percussion subtly exchanging altitude, rooms, and dimensions.  Rating: - Beautiful - Everyone should own this!!I turn my cable tv station to the soundscape channel when I want to relax and I have been finding that a lot of beautiful music I would not normally hear on the radio or tv or otherwise is on this channel. I dont know who this man is but he is very talented and touches the soul. This is one of the best albums I have ever heard in my life and it made me feel so good. I am buying them for Xmas gifts to give to friends. Rating: - The Scent of LightOttmar does it again. The sounds are crisp and the tempo is one of a kind. I never get tired to listening to this cd. A big fan and it's nice to hear without the brass this time around. Highly recommended! Rating: - TSOLOttmart Liebert music is usually a pleasure to listen to. An this last album is among the best he has realeased along with Winter Rose, Poets and Angels. He understand the music and the "moods" that goes with it. A must listen to. Rating: - Superb!I have been listening to Ottmar for many years. This is an awesome achievement on his part, I think. I have not stopped listening since I bought it. A definite must for Ottmar fans! |
