I'm not giving this 5 stars because it is more recycled performances of arias which are fine but not the best performances of the recordings available. I didn't care for Placi's composition for World Cup anymore than I'm nuts about any of Placi's other compositions for his father. It's ok but just not a great recording. After collecting hundreds of his recordings, there are better compiliations available with better performances. However, if you want to have a smattering of Domingo arias, this is ok but try a few of the earlier versions for a better variety as well as better performances of each of the arias on this disc. I guess the biggest problem is a lack of new recordings of arias from Placido now that his voice is, perhaps the lowest and the richest ... Read More:
