The first time I heard this, it reminded me of Supertramp in the way the piano leads the rhythms, rather than trying to supply a melody. Some of it is almost over the edge into the "avant-garde jazz" land of instrumental wankery. Only focus and the rock feel of the bank keeps it in the region of what I would loosely call progressive jazz.

This is quite possibly the best concert video I have ever seen. The guys play many of my favorite songs and play them rather excellently!!
I would recommend this to not only every muse fan, but also to every true music fan.
This is musical artisanship at it finest!!

I am incredibly impressed with a band that can sound so great live. The vocals are incredible, the lyrics amusing, and the riffs energetic. Muse is somewhat like a peppier Radiohead-- if you are a Thom Yorke fan I suggest you give it a try. I run to this album, and it gets me going for almost an extra mile :) Amazon's mp3 downloader thingy kicks the pants off of itunes. No DRM!

I don't have much to say of this CD. It rocks, but it's not their best one. They have great songs in there, like "Muscle Museum" and "Sunburn".

But there's one thing: no matter what people say, I just can't see anything in Muse that sounds like Radiohead. I do think that they have totally different styles.

Anyway... It's an awesome first album for an awesome band.

OK...I have been a fan of Serial Joe since Mistake...and a big fan at that (of their hard rock beats). Well, hearing of Completely, the first single of their latest album (Last Chance) At the Romance Dance...I couldn't help but feel alienated. Either way, I still bought it, cause I liked Completely, though I never even heard the entire song till I bought the album. So...in two simple words...IT ROCKED! I fell in love with Last Chance as soon as I got it. The album sure got a lot of critisim, but I believe that it's their best work yet. The second single Unintended, is a beautiful song I believe, with it's smart lyrics and smooth rythem. I loved Last Chance...and if you liked Completely, you will LOVE the rest!
