Cavatina - Tribute to Robert DeNiroSearch: Underture from: Dressed to Kill Release Date February 08, 2000 If you're a fan of Robert DeNiro and have seen all of his movies, this CD will be of good use to you. The music will bring back moments in the films that you adored. Even if the music is not recognizable to you, the tune of almost every song is soothing. The first song 'Once Upon A Time In America' and 'Cavatina' are great for background music anywhere. And the price for the whole CD is a good value. It's an import, so the quality isn't going to be as well-heard, but that doesn't change the mood that this music sets. From a sense of joy and fun to sad times, this CD offers many types of music from the many films of Robert DeNiro. |

I have listened to it all at least a hundred times, and I'm still not tired of it. I'm a big movie buff, so this collection is perfect for me! It contains most of the important cult movie songs that we all know and love, along with some extra tracks that are pretty sweet. So, instead of buying twenty different soundtracks with songs I didn't really want to hear, I got almost all of the songs I wanted in one collection. There's current stuff and older stuff. It has something for everyone! |

Child Is Father to the ManSearch: Underture by: Blood Sweat & Tears Release Date October 18, 1994 "Child is Father..." is not what most people think of when they think of Blood, Sweat & Tears - but it is a lost classic of '60s jazz-rock. David Clayton-Thomas had not yet joined the group and turned it into Chicago's main soul-pop rival. For BST's first album, the group's brainchild and leader was keyboardist Al Kooper, a New Yorker with a knack for sounding British. Kooper must be credited with fusing the horn section with the rock band, and BST's classic horn riffs are clearly evident on this recording. However, unlike more popular BST recordings, "Child is Father..." has a more eclectic jazz- and folk-rock sound.
