On the case it says "If this compact disc is cut or drilled or marked for promotional use only it is not for sale and neither the artist, songrwriters or publishers receive any compensation." The CD they sold my is cut, so illegal to sell. |

It features such staples as "Friends in Low Places," "The Thunder Rolls," "Two of a Kind, Workin' on a Full House," "Unanswered Prayers," Wild Horses," and the bonus track (on the CD re-master), "This Ain't Tennessee," which is by far one of his best tunes of the early 1990's. Following his 1989 debut album, Brooks' "No Fences" WAS and (still) IS the most consistant release he has ever put out in his 20 year career as the world's biggest country-rock pioneer of the 1990's. Garth's hey day took place between 1990 and 1995, and this album is truly a testament to his "glory days" or "early days" preceding the flourish of albums that would follow in its footsteps ... Pickin' on Garth BrooksSearch: Two Of a Kind- Workin On a Full House by: Various Artists Release Date January 25, 2000 I am a huge Garth fan and also a fan of instrumentals. This album seemed to be perfect. The only problem is that I am not much into bluegrass. I do, however, really enjoy "the Thunder Rolls" and "Beaches of Cheyenne." These tracks are nice to put on and just relax. My absolute favorite track is "The Dance." It is a very powerful piece that starts out slow but really becomes fast-paced at the end. It is awesome! Preview this track and you will see what I mean! As far as the other tracks are concerned, they really just arent the same without Garth's voice. Overall this album is alright but I wouldn't buy it unless you are REALLY into bluegrass. |
