A few of the selections in this collection are quite nice and a pleasure to hear; however, others are very poor and not worth the space they occupy on the disc. One is so bad it sounds like it was recorded under water. Even that could be an enjoyable novelty if it was consistent and didn't sound like it was also skipping. I transferred the good cuts and don't expect to listen to the entire collection a second time. A disappointment.

Though it's not her newest CD, it represents her best work so far -- great covers (her "GTO" has got to be the definitive version) and her most compelling and clever original material. Though Hunter's other CDs have been uneven, the U.S. release of Finders, Keepers should convert the skeptics.

Instead there are multiple renditions of the same songs but 90% of this set's content is free of repeats. Great value for good recording quality of some great music.

I was, and still am, a great Western Fan -- They don't make 'em that way nowadays.

COOL WATER is excellent with a collection of 8 of the most popular cowboy songs. This is an excellent CD. However, if you want more songs on one CD there is another Sons of the Pioneers CD that has 18 songs, including these 8.
