Trouble ManSearch: Trouble by: Marvin Gaye Release Date April 13, 1992 This is an amazing album that gives insight into the true musical genius that was Marvin Gaye. This cd should definitely be categorized as jazz-funk. Throughout the cd you will hear teases of the trouble man theme/riff. "T plays it cool" is a song that blew my mind when I heard it, it sounded like a hip-hop sample (but much better), it is a great song to cruise to (interpret that anyway you want). The cd has a great mix of songs using piano and moog synth, Don't mess with Mr. T is an incredible song that had me wondering where it had been all my life. You must get this cd if: you are a Marvin Gaye fan, you are a fan of funk,jazz,soul,etc. or if YOU LOVE GOOD MUSIC. |

His music is everlasting and at times relevant, case in point-Inner City Blues. He is a master because he is a genius at what he does bottom-line. R.I.P Marvin Gaye, your music will live forever. |
More Music from BraveheartSearch: Trouble by: James Horner Release Date October 07, 1997 I only purchased this CD.. didn't get the original Braveheart soundtrack. The 2 tracks that I listen to over and over and over again would be Sons Of Scotland (a moving, 12-minute piece of music which makes you feel like you're both warrior and patriot - although it has a voice-over, the speech is a very stirring one and complements the track) and For The Love Of A Princess (only 4 minutes but very touching as well). Although some tracks are little more than voice-overs from the movie, I would buy this album again just for the 2 tracks. It does leave me feeling a little "empty" though so I'll probably end up buying the first OST cd as well. |
