**i'm a 32 yr old guy who used to listen to Stone Roses, Lush, Smiths, REM, etc. and i was thinking this might be like some of that stuff.. it wasn't..
**Lightness, title and registration and We Looked Like Giants are the only decent songs on this CD.. and Giants is screwed up at the end with that dumb static thing that they did on it.. Lightness is the best song by far- it gives me chills listening to it.. very very good.. but again, it's a short song so as much as you like it it only last 2 mins..
**I don't know how anyone could give this CD 4 or 5 stars.. it is honestly depressing.. Transatlanticism, the song, has some good points to it but it is overwhelmingly sappy and slow.
This band is loaded i'm sure.. i'd be curious ... Read More:

To put it simply, what a beautiful CD. While "Tribute" CDs are often very poor and can only be appreciated by the true "die hard" fans, here is an example of what every tribute should be.
This string quartet took some good songs (Death Cab for Cutie is a pretty good band, but I'm not totally in love with them) and turned them into lovely string quartets, pretty much. There are no silly background noises, and everything is covered by these four instruments - two violins, a viola, and a cello. The effect is stunning. There is a certain classical feel to the whole album, but the music is still wholly Death Cab. You can feel the original songs when listening to this incredible album (even perhaps singing along!). There's a good feel ... Read More:

I'm probably one of the few people who couldn't get into the tv series SIX FEET UNDER. I tried but I just couldn't get into the show however I always liked the music that they used in the series. While I did enjoy the first SIX FEET UNDER soundtrack, the second volume is my personal favorite. Like the soundtrack to GARDEN STATE, SIX FEET UNDER VOL. 2: EVERYTHING captures that mixed tape feel with its eclectic collection of artists ranging from jazz great Nina Simone to alternative rock heroes The Arcade Fire. I personally like the varied sounds on the soundtrack. The diverse sound certainly captured the essence of the dark mood of the show. There was not one song on the soundtrack that I did not like.
