This is the best Led Zeppelin vynil pressing EVER! The sound is amazing making us wondering how other vynil records are pressed... - The masters are the same!
The theme selection is the same as the other 2 previous compilations but with this one we have the whole group playing just in front of us with the perfect space between the players!!! The mastering is better than we could possibly imagine! It seems that the band was recorded with today's state of art equipment. Is a unique experience. Congratulations.

This is in no way a "Tribute to Led Zeppelin". This album falls greatly short of Zeppelins legendary music. I don't even think the previous comment from rockpig WV "rockpig" was even.... I dont even know what it was... he/she seems to have no idea how they feel about Led Zeppelin and their music because of a couple quotes... "some of Led Zeppelin's best songs works on every level. Should be very enjoyable to both young and old, fans of the best classic rock" "some tight men and women doing a great job of modernizing these old hacks." This guy clearly does not have his mind made up about Zeppelin.

First let me say I love the Fudge. I have all their releases and I was both pleased and surprised when I saw this listing given that Carmine and Tim have reformed Cactus (or is that dead after one release?) So, I really dig the Fudge, but after my initial play of this Zep tribute, I was mostly quite disappointed. I like it better after a couple more plays but still not like I had hoped. To me it seems that on the tracks that they chose to stay very close to the original version, they just flat out missed the "feel" of Zeppelin. They're not played badly, they just seem to be missing something: a vibe, if you will. The few that they made more their own, like they used to do with covers, are much more interesting.

Early Days, Later Days includes almost all the must haves from the impressive catalogue of this Iconic Band. The powerful, bluesy wail and incessant and inventive riffs just sweep one into a world of powerful emotion and life well-lived. Perhaps the only addition to this tomb that may have made it even more essential to Zep beginners would be Ramble On; Heartbreaker; Livin' Lovin' Maid; and Misty Mountain Hop. However, given the legnth and grandeur of their hits- I am hard pressed to see what Jimmy Page would have left out of this jam packed 23 song compilation. This 2 CD set also includes a video of Kashmir, which complements nicely the Communication Breakdown Video in Early Days. An amazing tour de force- or better yet, a force of nature. Short of ...
