I was under the impression that I was ordering Streetwize that features Kim Walters, who takes todays hits and put his jazz spin on it. Needless to say this CD was given to someone who likes that sort of thing.

i have yet to listen to it twice over, so i'm writing this review from first listen.

it's making me want to dance! as said in the other reviews he sings about dating, love, all that good stuff.

lots of funky grooves, catchy guitar riffs and some short solos i guess, synths! all the good stuff, to me anyway, from the 80's era which i still think was ahead of its time to this day!

if you have an open mind and enjoy music passionately, give this a listen, you might grow to love it.

just have one gripe about one review though which might be a little misleading?

Chromeo takes the best of the 80's and puts it down for a fantastic album. There are 5 or 6 very good songs on this album. The dance versions aren't to great but the album is great none the less. Itunes Indie Electro Collection brought them to my attention with the song Mama's Boy and after checking out their album, I bought it and was very happy that I found out about these guys. Apparently they are pretty popular and just played here in DC recently. I can see why they are popular. They dont take themselves too seriously either which I can appreciate.
