Ok. First off this cd is pretty expensive. But it has some cool high energy trance songs that are very catchy and could be played as background music at a party or etc. Other than that this cd is pretty pathetic. I personally think Tracks 1,5,11,12 and 13 were the best songs on this cd but besides those highlights the rest are typical pathetic trance songs and trance remakes of other trance songs. Also the mixing of this cd is worthless, i noticed that they used all radio edits on all the songs on this cd and you can tell that at the last 10 seconds of each track they start rushing in the next song which makes the music seem like it was all clipped together. You can definitely tell when listening closely to the lead out of "tess - the second ... Read More:

Despite the presence of some mighty fine dance singles from the past year ( I'm still grooving to "All This Time" in particular )this has got to be one of the absolute worst mixing jobs I have ever heard. Technically and artistically this mix is a total hatchet job, with nary a smooth trasition to be found or any real sense of flow.

I haven't listened to the American arrangement of Come On Over, but I will say that this arrangment is brilliant! This album just flows so well, the mixing and production is very, very good. The mixture of styles is excellent and still contains that country feel really well. Her ballads like "From this moment on", "You've got a Way" and "You're still the one" show of her voice, whereas the album is still jam-packed with sing-along songs that gets you going for a really good night out! I love the way she can speak what she feels and this is a brilliant woman's album (it makes you feel good). You get carried away when you're listening to it and I now know all the words by heart. This album appeals to everyone from rock to country, young ... Read More:

This compilation is made up of Weatherall, his co-horts and his aliases, all of which are fantastic.
Forget all the namby-pamby 'dance' stuff on offer these days. Who cares about what new bright young electro-hopeful is emerging?! This stuff rules with a heavy iron fist, pummeling all other lightweights into mediocre mush.
Weatherall, Tenniswood, Frisch und Munter, The Black Balloons, Klart!!! What more do you need? What else matters?

This box set on the great Austrian born, German and later Broadway star Lotte Lenya collects almost everything she ever did in front of a microphone. From the first recordings she made of the iconic "Threepenny Opera" ("Die Dreigroshenoper") to the erzatz James Bond theme song "Youngblood", and even her appearance on Dick Cavett (commenting on his attire as "you look like a pimp") where she sang "I'm A Stranger Here Myself" arranged down to a three note range. Besides the 11 CDs with many very rare or unreleased recordings, the box includes a book with extraordinary photographs (particularly the set shot on the docks in postwar Germany, one of which was used for the German "Happy End" LP cover, stunning). Particularly welcome is the score of "Mother ... Read More:
