This is Witchdoctor, from the dungeon family. It seems this album is out and nobody even knows cuz he kind of changed his name and went to an underground label. Overall, i was dissapointed with this album, considering his other one (Witchdoctor- A.S.W.A.T. healing ritual) was one of the best cd's to come out the ATL since Outkast. That was a classic cd no doubt. This is kinda different wit different beats that dont really work. He needs to get back with outkast, goodie mob and get some beats like he had on his old album. I give this a 3/5..his other one was a 5/5 no doubt..

I have been the proud owner of this dual CD since 1994, when my first car had only a tape deck and I had to use one of those goofy converters with my diskman to listen to CDs. I think I wore the poor thing out. I also own the original rock opera written and performed by The Who, but it doesn't get the playtime that the Cast Album does. Why not? Because the women in this recording are phenomenal! I love speeding down the road screaming/singing "Acid Queen".
I will have to be honest though... as a play, Tommy is a bit lacking. You have to admit that the plot is a bit strange and often the character's actions leave the viewer scratching their head. I watched the touring cast in the late 90's and still have my piece of the mirror ... Read More:

Yes I am the first one to review another DanceHall CD again. It is upsetting to so many DanceHall CD's go un-reviewed so I guess I have made it my mission to make sure the Best musical genre (DanceHall) is spread to everyone in world. Even if it means for me to review every Reggae CD on this site.
The "Thrilla Riddim" is already in my regular CD rotation. Usually I am unfair to other artist in DanceHall because I am such a "Vybz Kartel" fan, but The rising female star "Makka Diamond" has the best song "Done Already". Pretty much the ladies represented on this riddim. "Lady Saw & Cecile" made the "Loser" song and if anyone ever gets to see that video it is quite entertaining.

This is a classic masterpiece. This amazing rock opera has sounded great decade after decade, and is worth listening to again and again.

Everything about this release is wrong, except for the content. Maybe if the sound was recompressed, remixed and washed out a couple of times it might be tolerable. It seems most of The Who's punch from "Live at Leeds" was lost in the open air of this festival. I've heard better bootlegs, but not to say that this recording is "dirty", because it's not. If anything is too quiet, clean and tired. I'd pass.
