The short organ/intro clips are too short, however. I think some songs would be "game good" and others would be "practice stuff" for a sports team. Some songs will seem dated by the current generation of athletes. |

The Hollywood SoundSearch: Theme: Jaws by: John Williams & London Symphony Orchestra Release Date February 11, 1997 I would have to say that this is a wonderful tool for a soundtrack lover like me. Almost every theme is something really above the norm. Some, like "Out of Africa" and "Dances with Wolves" make me sadly reminiscent for some reason. Others, like the "Godfather II," "Lawrence of Arabia," "Colors of the Wind," (from Pocohontas)and "Best Years of Our Lives" really lift the spirit as you're just wrapped up in their lovely music. The only changes I would make would be the removal of the theme from "Jaws" which, though good, becomes grating on the nerves. Also, I think it's a real shame that the Themes from "Schindler's List" and "Doctor Zhivago" aren't on here, as I find them true classics. However, this CD deserves the highest rating possible!!! |
