Accustomed to give all ACE releases 5 stars because they more than
deserve them, this release is a bit frustrating not only because of
the selection used, but also because some of the greatest tunes of all
times are again in MONO. I know that there are a lot of "purists" who
prefer mono recordings but if an original stereo version does exist,
I prefer that because a lot of "unexisting" instruments on a mono
recording can be heard on the stereo one. There's a lot of difference
when you hear "Save The Last Dance For Me" in stereo. The mono version
loses a lot. Ben E King's "First Taste of Love" is one of the greatest
songs ever if you can hear it in stereo. On this CD it's in mono ... Read More:

I recently purchased volume 2 and 1, respectively, in
fear that Volume 1 would contain earlier unrefined music.
I was wrong. Volume 1 easily holds a candle to Volume
2. The first CD certainly uses more electric guitars
which gives it a harder sound, which should be pleasing to
those that enjoy hard rock. And, of course, we get a lot
of futuristic synthesizer mood music. You get music from
the Andoid Saga, Trunks, Cell, and Garlic Jr. Sagas in
a total of 25 tracks.

I don't understand those that whine about the American
version of DBZ when most of the DVD's contain both versions.
In my opinion, the American actors brought much to the characters,

As a huge fan of music, and especially the new Swedish explosion, I am dissapointed in myself for not finding The Soundtrack of Our Lives sooner. This is one brilliant album, and I am excited to venture into band's back catalogue and listen to their previous two releases. There is no denying the power of the songs on "Behind the Music", from the Led Zeppelin-esque intro of"Infra Riot" to the mellow piano of the final few songs. TSOOL shows great diversity here, going from foot-tapping rock songs to sad, mellow dramatic balads.

The style of music here is hard to describe, as it blends influences such as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, a little bit of Zeppelin and more. But this is not a classic-rock sounding band, ... Read More:
