Here is an excellent compilation of tunes that were popular in 1930. The selection is a nice mix of vocalists and dance bands--hot and sweet (mostly the latter). There are some real classics here: Isham Jones's "Stardust," Ruth Etting's "Ten Cents A Dance," "Stein Song" by Rudy Vallee -- come to think of it, they're pretty much all standards now. There isn't much of a booklet, but the sound quality is quite nice. I enjoy and play this disc often. With most similar compilations of comparable quality costing nearly twice as much, this is one of the better bargains out there. Highly recommended!
