First let me say I'm a HUGE fan of Wolfman & The Roadmasters and thrilled that they have been able to release yet another album. Out Of The Dark is still my favorite Wolfman album but this new release is definately moving up the list. If you like good, funky, R&B/blues/jazz/soul you will enjoy this album. Buy a bunch of copies and give them to your friends and let's hope that we can keep this great band out on the road and bringing this great music to our towns. Keep up the good work Wolfman... Hopefully we'll see you in East Tennessee soon!

This CD seems to have been the temporary casualty of the uncertainty that surrounded Black Saint/Soul Note a few years ago--it's a combination of a 2000 session with a couple stray pieces from the _Bingo_ sessions from 1996, but it was released in 2006. (The liner notes wrongly state that both sessions are from 1996, for some reason.) It is a slightly unusual album among ROVA's recent output, which includes tough nuts like _Resistance_ and the post-millenial reimagining of Coltrane's _Ascension_ as _Electric Ascension_. _Totally Spinning_ is a surprisingly user-friendly album, full of jazz and R'n'B, including a stunning ballad in tribute to Charles Mingus, "Cuernavaca Starlight"; I particularly admire their ability to swing powerfully without ... Goddess in the Doorway

Everyone in the Stones is special, but if you love Mick Jagger this is the album for you. I think there is space for Rolling Stones albums and the members' solo albums. I like the variety that the group and the solo albums provide the fans with. The highlights for me on this album were Visions of Paradise, Hideaway and Don't Call Me Up. I bought a copy when it came out and when I moved I had to leave my CDs behind but this is one of the albums I most miss.
