What needs to be said about the Dixie Chicks and their first two albums with Natalie Maines as lead singer? Perhaps you, like myself, got interested in their music after Natalie's comment about George W. Bush. Or perhaps you made the mistake of throwing their CD's out to be crushed, only to realize three years later that they were right all along, and now wish you can be forgiven. It does not matter. Songs like Cowboy Take Me Away, Wide Open Spaces and Goodbye Earl are all time classics. If you paid no attention to these songs before, you have no idea what you are missing.
