This is the hottest CD in years. It combines the hip-hop influences of the north with the Chago Man's salsa background. Watch out Enrique, the Chago Man will be dominating Spanish music in the States for the next decade!

Keith sings and you can understand him. Some different live songs, and Jack White sings on Loving Cup. If you are a middle aged rock fan, try White Stripes if you want to feel like you're still in touch with something from this century, although I later heard it in the Safeway supermarket. Anyway, Keith sings Connection, and Christine Agguilerra sings on Live with Me. The standards, Jumpin Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, but well worth the ride. I'm singing along on the beltway with it!

Although not NEARLY as evident as on "Dirty Work," ennui (to phrase it somewhat mildly...) was setting in amongst the Stones, here, BADLY. Still...as in most everything they've ever done (with the glaring, very SAD exception of "Bigger Bang"), there is/was always one or two little stone TREASURES that made up for the rest of the album(s)' shortcomings. And "She Was Hot" is a flat-out rocker, comparable to almost anything off the "Sticky Fingers/Exile/Goat's Head Soup" trilogy - the Stones' apothesis. Two things: a very definite "Keith/lead guitar" solo. And it was the very last (well, "audible," anyway) Stones' song that featured original Stone/the irreplaceable Ian Stewart. And despite the fact that 75% of all the guitar on "Tie You Up (The ... Read More:

Die hard fans of the Stones will be disappointed with this CD. It is comprised of clips of weathered looking Stones interspersed with some abbreviated interviews. The overall affect was was boring. The only redeeming points were the duet with Christina Aguilera and Bill Clinton introducing and hugging the band members. Mick never looked so bad, but he can still move.
If there was a point that Sorcese was trying to make, I missed it.
I'm sorry I bought into all the presale hype. It wasn't worth it for me.
