Ok. First off this cd is pretty expensive. But it has some cool high energy trance songs that are very catchy and could be played as background music at a party or etc. Other than that this cd is pretty pathetic. I personally think Tracks 1,5,11,12 and 13 were the best songs on this cd but besides those highlights the rest are typical pathetic trance songs and trance remakes of other trance songs. Also the mixing of this cd is worthless, i noticed that they used all radio edits on all the songs on this cd and you can tell that at the last 10 seconds of each track they start rushing in the next song which makes the music seem like it was all clipped together. I have had these 3 recordings on vinyl for many many years and have always wondered why they were utterly unavailable any more - UNTIL NOW !! I have absolutely everything that Buffy has ever recorded, and have always thrilled to her entire discography. But these 3 recordings are definitely amongst her very best. How anyone could regard them as "weak" is utterly beyond me. They are all wonderful. And all different from each other. It is a crime that it has taken over 30 years for them to come out on CD !!! If you like Buffy at all, buy these immediately. I guarantee that you will love them.

This debut album of Yuri Chika is compiled with a variety of songs including her hit single "I Cry" to upbeat songs like " Pray You'll Come Back to Me". Her voice is very soothing and very relaxing to the ears. Once you hear her voice, you will not forget how magnificint it is. Her album includes two Japanese songs, and one hidden track that is Japanese. Even though you do not understand the language, the music itself is awesome. I would definately recommend this anyone who is looking for a moment of relaxation.

I have to be honest in reviewing this cd.....
I bought it to hear Dan Fogelberg's contribution to it.
I am firstly a Dan Fogelberg fan, if he hums a song....I want it.
Which is close to what he does for "Picasso's Midnight Stroll".
"Picasso's......is a dreamy mysterious song.
Dan lends a very haunting wordless vocal, along with a beautiful female harmony......like two lovers wading through a placid park.
Jim Wilson has once again chosen his accompanying musicians well.

Buy this Cd for its simple quality.
It is relaxing and it is soothing.
But don't fall asleep to it.....you may miss its gift.
Each song is a deep breath and sigh.

I recommend also "Northern Seascape".

This is yet another wonderful album of original instrumental tunes (only one track has vocals) by pianist/composer Jim Wilson, and it's a real find. "Cape of Good Hope" is a gorgeous follow-up to his debut album, "Northern Seascapes", and in some ways, it can be compared to the type of recordings that Jim Brickman creates, but this is more lyrical, interpretive, and has more variety than some of Mr Brickman's works. Highlights, for me, include the title track with it's flowing melody and nautical theme, "Discovery", and "Can't Find My Way Home" (1st version), with a lovely sax/acoustic guitar accompaniment.
