This collection has some dubious choices of latter-day versions of widely available rockabilly classics (a live "Ooby Dooby" is particularly uninpired, and Gene Vincent's "modern" "Bebop a Lula" is not the one you came for) but plenty of rare and rocking 'billy music, and one hard-to-find bona fide classic is happily included: "Red Hot Mama" by Wayne Williams and the Sure Shots. Worth it for that alone. Liner notes? Not worth reading.

One of the most loved and well-known neo rockabilly bands from the 1980's. Since 1987 Frantic FLintstones led by vocalist Chuck Flintstone made a lot of albums - some are good, some are just a repeat. Their early records are good with no doubt.
This CD contains Frantic Flintstones releases for Raucous Records (Leichester, UK), includes their first EP "Bedrock" and a few unreleased tracks. You can also hear live tracks from their first show.
Sound quality isn't great, the cover is nothing special. Interesting for the true Frantic Flintstones fans, though.

i've owned this cd for 2 years now and have seen them live in memphis. these guys have grown and develop as a band. i look fwd to future works being available after their current tour is complete. an anonymous fiance of mine say that these guys should get a tour bus that is better than the one ezra has and really hit the road hard next fall around football season. geaux tide.
