"LOVE OF CHRIST" is the best Christian wedding song of all times! We loved it so much that we requested it for our wedding!

I grew up watching Lawrence Welk, and falling in love with the Lennon Sisters, so I probably shouldn't have been surprized that I enjoyed this collection of songs so much, but even so, the incredible beauty of their voices makes me feel like I'm in heaven, and the excellent selection of songs is just a joy to hear. I'm not Catholic, so I wasn't familiar with all of the songs, but they are so well done, and so moving that you'll have tears in your eyes.

I'm just glad CD's were invented, so I won't have to worry about wearing out records and tapes.

Buy this CD for yourself or anyone else who likes beautiful Christian music. It is outstanding.

I didn't know what to expect when I first put this CD in my car's player, but I was pleasantly surprised at the imaginative and insightful arrangements and performance of these "standard" hymn tunes. The influences of many composers can be heard, from classical through jazz to pop: bits of Brahms mingled with Sondheim, Ellington and Oscar Peterson fused with snatches of Bach and Mozart, even tinges of Latin and African American gospel influences. All-in-all a wonderful listening experience! I hope Kogut & Stahl produce more recordings.
