Like the multi-dimensional lives of the characters in the film, this soundtrack reaches into different tones -- and like the film, this album comes together into an amazing piece.

The Polyphonic Spree, The Moldy Peaches and The Whiles seduce us into softer moods, while kicking Ministry tracks open and close the album and keep the adrenaline pumping.

I agree that Jamie Saft's score is an intergral part of the soundtrack, but the other tunes on the album compliment Saft's tracks well to make a great and solid CD.

This CD only had a few good songs. The rest of it, such as a track consisting entirely of random humming, was unprofessional and not the least bit entertaining. The movie was funny and held my attention, however the soundtrack was a sad disappointment.

I was amazed that I could buy 100 classic rock songs for just under $30. The word "enhanced" made me think of remastered songs, sounding better now than they did on my small radios and primitive boom boxes of the 70's... When the CD arrived, I anxiously cued up Billy Joe Royal's "Cherry Hill Park" - one of my faves that is hard to find on good compilations. Right away I noticed changes from the version I remembered... Where was the chorus? Where was Billy Joe screaming out "Cherry Hill Park" at the end? I tried another song - "Sunday Will Never be the Same" by Spanky and Our Gang - horrible version of a great easy listening rock classic. So, I take a look at the cover - "100 Rock 'n' Roll Classics" in large letters, as is "100 Songs on 1 CD" ... Read More:
