Last year in dance music, taking other artists songs and mixing them together with the least likely of songs was a huge trend in dance music, next to electroclash music. I never really saw the appeal in the music. I tried but the music bored me. Lately I started to getting into some songs in the vein of electrolcash music like the Fischerspooner/Billy Squirer song "Everyone Wants You to Emerge" and Client's "Price of Love". Today I just found a copy of "Destroy All Djs", a 74 minute opus of popular songs that were mixed together in the most peculiar way. Who would have thought that Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall (part 2)" would sound good together with Enya's "Orinocco Flow (Sail Away)"? I didn't know quite what to expect when I picked up this album. I'm not a great fan of instrumental/orchestral re-workings of familiar tunes. This album however is an exception. The arrangements are inventive and full of passion and the violin playing of Karen Briggs is more than worth the price of admission. It may be unavailable but if you can pick it up I promise it'll deliver more punch than you expect from Taliesin, especially if your previous exposure to Trammell Starks' music was the Enya collection.

Libera continues to put out great music. Though the music is basically the same type of music as their other CD's. This CD has a slightly different feel to it in my opinion. Their music is part ethereal and part just plain fun. They sound like they enjoy singing together and being part of Libera. It would be great to be able to see them live in concert to see that joy and enthusiasm that they put into their singing on the CD's. Anyone who is a fan of boy treble singers and boy's choirs should buy this CD.
