The purchase of this CD was a pleasure due to my exhaustive search for Handel's Chandos Anthem No. 6. I searched exclusively for any recording of "With the Voice of Praise". My familiarity arose out of exposure to an SATB version of this anthem that the Asbury College Concert Choir sang when I was a music major.

After nearly four years of searching, I located this CD performed by "The Sixteen." Their rendition shocked me--in a good way. The historical notes indicated that Handel had to arrange many of these Chandos Anthems several times due to the constant change in personnel.
