For those that don't know, this is Mark A. Rivers (From the now defunked Cavedogs)CD after the Dogs' breakup recorded with Clayton P. Scoble and Josh D. Lattanzi. From the first to the last song this threesome are tight!!!!!! The songs grow on you more and more with each new listen. If you listened to any songs from the Cavedogs and liked them then you will like these songs. IMO these songs are better than any Cavedog song. But having said that I don't want you to get the impression that im degrading the Dogs.......because I'm not. The Cavedogs were one of the better groups in the Boston music scene in the late 80s, early 90s.

Northern Soul: Cream of 60's Soul

This is a good collection let down by either the transcription method from the masters or source. Yes there are some great tracks here but its more aimed for the collector than a casual lover of Northern Soul. JJ Barnes hole in the wall is a classic and it delves into some wonderful tracks. So if your one of those who love Northern Soul and want to fill gaps into the collection this is it, however be warned some of the sound quality isnt the greatest. Keep On Burning, Right Now!
