I have a four year old, and I've heard this recording at least 50 times. The orchestra is great and Hart's narration is very well done. My son has danced this piece for us many times and I'll always think of it fondly. This "Peter and the Wolf" is a great way to keep away from the overproduced, low-quality, sticky sweet nonsense that's sold as music for small children.

Kristoffer Ragnstam is a breath of fresh air. He is a combination of the Clash, Talking Heads, Eric Clapton, Incubus, the Bee Gees and Neil Young. He is an amazing performer as well when I saw him in concert opening for The Lovely Miss Deborah Harry. They were a fantastic duo. Hi presence on stage reminds you of legendary rockers like Springsteen. His music makes you realize what is missing in much of the music of today- heart,inspiration and soul.
