I can't believe anyone would give this a decent review. It's awful. All Music Guide calls it "confused and unsuccessful," TheatreMania Guide to Musical Theatre Recordings dubs this "Not Recommended" and says "this recording is an out-and-out failure," and Musicals101 chimes in with "painfully miscast" and adds "pretentious trash." They're right.
At this point you can pick this "gem" up for less than $3!

Rainbow Palace was a favorite of my daughter. She used to always tell me, "Allegator's don't wear shoes". However, our cassette got orange juice spilled on it, and we did not have this for several years. I was so glad to find it again on CD. Now my son is enjoying it, too. Of course, I probably enjoy it the most. If you like musicals, Broadway, show tunes, this is for you.

Rainbow Palace was a favorite of my daughter. She used to always tell me, "Allegator's don't wear shoes". However, our cassette got orange juice spilled on it, and we did not have this for several years. I was so glad to find it again on CD. Now my son is enjoying it, too. Of course, I probably enjoy it the most. If you like musicals, Broadway, show tunes, this is for you.

So glad they re-issued this. My tape was getting warped and distorted. Wow! I have never heard such a live concert ! Margie's birthday party! Simply her with the guitar. Melanie without the wall of sound. with us through deep poetry and joy. The crowd is so enthusiastic and in the end they come up on stage and sharing in the party. Such sweetness filled with intense power through voice and vibration. Songs of coming together and Speaking up for the cows. Such blessed creatures. A truly enjoyable evening. Hope they put out Stoneground Words. So glad my friend turned me onto Melanie. God Bless You Melanie. Peace...Peace...Peace
