I bought this cd just because i had bought the 3 previous!And i must admitt,though i don't want it,that i was dissapointed.Vol.4 hasn't got that...heroic music of Vol.1&2,or the mystic and dark music of Vol.3.I recognised Mr.LoDuca's style,but i was dissapointed.I think that a cd like X:WP Vol.6 must be created for Hercules too.A cd that will contain cues that weren't included in the other cd's.
I will keep the cd as a treasure,just like i always do with Xena and Hercules cd's,but i won't listen to it that often.Thanks.

Released initially in Australia only by BMG. Here we find the Divinyls playing a less polished brand of music that found them success on their last outing, their self titled International Hit album.

The song "Im Jealous" had been around for a couple of years used in Melrose Place and is an emotionally charged ballad only Chrissy and Mark could pull off. A powerful song indeed. It hit #14 on the Australian singles chart.

Several darker acoustic ballads signal the difference between this album and its predecessor, both being a departure from the new wave, energetic rocking earlier albums, The Monkey Grip EP, Desperate, What A Life and Tempermental.

Purchased years ago after seeing Wendy open for the Indigo Girls, this is a favorite in my collection of female singer/songwriters. This album has an intimate quality due to its soloist, acoustic voice. Although several songs include other instruments and voices, Wendy's voice stands out with an impassioned uniqueness. It's difficult to describe and bears no comparison. There is a gentle raspiness, a sweet vigor and shy bawdiness to it. Her lyrics are thoughtful and often funny.
