I bought this for my 10 year old daughter because she LOVES Carrie Underwood. It's GREAT! The backtrack music is right on and sounds good! My daughter is having herself recorded in a studio singing "Crazy Dreams" to this CD (as the backtrack) and it sounds very professional! Good Choice, not a disappointment. I highly recommend it to ANY Carrie Underwood fan who LOVES to sing her songs.

Listen, I LOVE Nickelback and I am also a 30 year old professional musician/singer/songwriter in the NJ/NYC area, but MY GOD, THIS IS TERRIBLE! I realize Chad Kroeger has one of the biggest lion's roar of a voice in rock and he can't be imitated, but come on! I don't know who this guy is singing, but I bought this and I want my $11.00 back NOW! Even the lame cover bands all over NJ don't sound this bad! Buy the orchestra tribute so at least you have something tasteful, but save your money on this WRETCHED CD! Can I get back my $11.00 PLEASE???

Having heard the two most popular albums by Nickelback, SILVER SIDE UP and ALL THE RIGHT REASONS, I decided to buy this one as well because I knew a few of the songs on it and remembered that I didn't have this one yet. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but after listening to it a few times I decided this is their best album of the three that I've heard. It's the closest to perfect I've ever heard on a post-grunge album.

I thought SILVER SIDE UP was too heavy on the guitars and all of the songs sounded too similar, and I thought ALL THE RIGHT REASONS was a better album but sounded too forced for the mainstream. Ok so it may not be the most intricately developed music to come along, but as far as I am concerned, Chad Kroeger, can sing to me anything, anytime, love his voice...his passion for what he and the band does comes through, from his pairing with Santana to this album. These are the type of songs I can listen to to cheer me up, get me through or just sing along with. To me that is what music is about, how it makes me feel...that's my story and I am sticking to it...

One more thing love Michael Kroeger's bass lines, but I would cause I play too ;-)
