Honestly I didn't expect another live album from the stones. Thanks I was wrong!. The Stones really rocks on the small venues like Beacon Teathre. There are some jewels like:

- She was Hot: first time they include it on a live album.
- Some girls section (Faraway Eyes, Just My Imagination, Some Girls, Shatteres).
- As Tears Go By. what a beauty!!!

The low points to me are:

- Little T&A. I love that song, but what a shame with this version
- Sympathy For The Devil: I don't know but I feel something missing on it!

Lately my friends have been going through a bad time...and I realized there was only one thing that could put a smile on their faces. The "Action Jackson" Soundtrack.

Much of the album is the sledgehammer funk so prominent in 1988. I dare you to play "Action Jackson" by Madame X to anyone and not have them crack up and dance along. Seriously folks, 80s pop music doesn't get any campier or fun than this track.

Elsewhere, the version of the Pointer Sisters' "He Turned Me Out" is has a bit longer of an intro than the album version found on "Serious Slammin'" Nothing better than listening to the sisters sing about finding a thrill at "Tony's Grill". I wonder if there really is a Tony's Grill?

I was fortunate to see The So and So's play at Camp Jeep '04. I bought this CD there, and it has never left my car player. The music on this CD is basic and pure, truly original. The vocal work by Meg Toohey is incredible. I can listen to BETTER, TATTOO, WESTSIDE, and RUNAWAY GIRL over and over again. My 13 yr old daughter and 17 yr old son both asked for their own CDs.
