For anyone who already loves Offenbach, or for anyone interested in the development of modern, popular musical theatre, or for anyone who just loves good tunes that you can hum all day, this is essential listening. The music and the performances are absolutely glorious, and the accompanying documentation, as always with Opera Rara, is first class and a model of its kind.

My only slight disappointment--and I emphasise "slight"--was that the selections seemed to favour the later Offenbach. There are only three pieces from the 1850s, when Offenbach exploded onto the French musical scene, and developed his inimitable style. But perhaps Opera Rara can be persuaded to put together another collection of "Early Offenbach"?

Another pretty good Rush live album. Perhaps it isn't better than Rio or rush 30 but stills good. Passage to Bangkok, Circumstances and Mission are the surprises. The new material is good alive.

I'm only 20 years old, but I've been a die-hard Rush fan ever since I was first exposed to them some 5-6 years ago. That being said, Permanent Waves is my favorite Rush album of them all. It has tracks that are great for the casual listener, some that are great for the blossoming Rush fan looking to get their first album, some that are great for the prog-rock enthusiast, and ALL that are great additions to anyone's music collection.

Any listener of Classic Rock radio will instantly recognize The Spirit Of Radio and Freewill. Two great radio-friendly tracks that are still proggy by Rush standards (check out the time changes in Freewill). Entre Nous is a very beautiful song, along with Different Strings. my only dissapointment is that this artist only has one CD out. Even if you do not understand French the tempo and beat is fantastic and his voice superb. HE is somewhat like a French James Blount in style. this artist has become my favorite and hopefully makes more music so I can add to my collection. Give it a try I am certain you will not be dissapointed. If you like James Blount's music you will love this. the tempo is uplifting and makes you want to move. C'est magnifique !
