It's not just for kids! Originally checked this out from the library. My kids were THRILLED when I actually purchased it. It makes me realize why I love musicals -- they're usually upbeat and happy and everything works out in the end. I wish there were more of them out there to be enjoyed.

Of course there should have been much more. I remember there been a Metropolian Opera series called CAST ALBUMS- 100 YEARS that was put out for a limited time only and had like five volumes.
As Peter Filichia noted they left out SHE LOVES ME, BRIGADOON and SWEENEY TODD. Also nothing from PACIFIC OVERTURES, BIG RIVER, CHESS, CRAZY FOR YOU, JEKYLL & HYDE, TITANIC, THE SCARLET
PIMPERNEL, FOOTLOOSE- THE MUSICAL, THE FULL MONTY, URINTOWN...
But they couldn't have put it all. I would have done without Lee Remick's
"Anyone Can Whistle", because the show was a flop. I guess because it was Sondheim's first "serious" show...

The Young Ambassadors are an amazing performance group. I saw them perform this show at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon and they were amazing. There are a few songs missing from the actual performance, such as Phantom of the Opera, but for the most part, it stays true to the performance. I highly recommend this CD, along with anything else from BYU and the Young Ambassadors. If you like Church music, I also recommend the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.More Greatest Hits: 18 Best Loved Favorites

Sharon, Lois and Bram are fantastic. I have many children's CDs and this one wins every time. My son knows every song at the age of 2 and a half, has specific requests, and always prefers these guys!!

I find most children's CDs REALLLY annoying, especially after listening to them over and over and over.... but I love these tunes. They are catchy, wholesome, funny, original and fun.

Definitely worth purchasing. I have another CD from this group and plan to buy more right now!!

Yes the score for this musical is beautiful. So much going on in each one, perfect for that circus atmosphere. Each instrument has character which is so lost in modern musicals. Now my thing with the lyrics is not that they're bad. They get rather dulled at points, and I just tuned them out. When Jim Dale was singing I listened just to hear him, but otherwise, take them or leave them. It Seems to be show you need to see not hear. Favorite song: "There Is a Sucker Born Ev'ry Minute"

As a preschool teacher, I can honestly say that this group ranks quite high with the five and younger crowd! Catchy, fast paced, fun tunes and lyrics.Lois, Sharon, and Bram's music remain a childhood staple. Right up their with Raffi- another must buy!
