I was expected more from this Dallas, Tx native. Assassin's lyrics are tight in most songs. The beats are 808 style, somewhat oldskool. I enjoy listening to it but I think Assassin should have put more work into it. The quest appearances by Mettaforic and Strict9 help a lot, as I like their style. For now, pick this up for a bit of something different (beat wise not lyrically) and enjoy it for what it is. Keep an eye on Lock Down Records. It will never be No Limit but showcases upcoming Dirty South artists.

I was looking for an inexpensive collection of dance music to get my toddler moving, with some of the catchy songs that I remember enjoying as a kid. These CDs have some good songs (my toddler really likes "Celebration") but the kids singing the songs sing in what I call "Barbie doll voices" and are a little off key; personally I find it spoils the fun. Also, the arrangement lacks energy, in my opinion, so it doesn't encourage dancing as much as it should. Apart from one or two songs my toddler didn't really notice that the music was on. A major problem with the unprofessional presentation is that the CD numbers aren't written on them so when you pop one in you don't know which collection of songs will play. I had to label the CDs 1,2,3, with ... Read More:

This music is so cute! I love playing it, even when my toddler isn't really listening. I love Proud Mary and Workin' at the Car Wash!
