This is an interesting collection of three 1977 concerts and an odd-n-ends collection of alternative takes from the album, The Idiot, an interview and live radio performance.

The concerts in the multi-CD set are London, March 7; Berlin, September 18 and Paris, September 23. Only 1000 were produced and is part of an ongoing series of authorized releases on the Easy Action label that chronicle the solo career of the "Godfather of Punk."

It is an excellent collection for Iggy fans who are looking for authorized material that is a cut above the plethora of "bootleg" releases.

If you're a fan of country blues (fingerstyle blues), and know who the Blue Rider Trio are, you HAVE to be excited to see a new CD bearing their name. However, upon closer inspection you will notice that the song selections can all be found on the only two CDs that the group recorded with Mapleshade Records. That's right, this new release offers no new material!

While I did not purchase this CD, I would like to point out that the other reviewer (T. Jarvis) is none other that the Tim Jarvis that toured with Ben Andrews and the Blue Rider Trio. He has made many of his personal Trio videos available on YouTube. If Tim says that the material on this release is thrown together, than I am sure it is not the same high-quality production ... Old Crow Medicine Show

I heard these guys for the first time on NPR's Prairie Home Companion. Their rendition of "Wagon Wheel," the last track on this disc, was the perfect tune to be listening to, while riding down the road towards home. The disc as a whole is nearly perfect. Balanced, bluegrass harmonies and skillful musicianship blend to create a disc that I have listened to hundreds of times, never growing tired.

Especially great is the rendition of "CC Rider" the best version of that classic since Ray Charles. Also fantastic are "Take 'em Away" and "Tell It To Me," but there isn't a bad track on the album.
