This is one of my favourite albums from Martina. She sounds beautiful singing these emotional songs. This album has several of my favorite songs: "Safe in the arms of Love", "Phones are ringing all over town", and "Beyond the blue". These songs are all varying in topic, but they all sound wonderful with Martina singing them. Martina said at the time, that this album felt the most like her - I agree. It's full of songs about relationships - All the things we've never done, and You've Been Driving All The Time that reflect Martina's own marriage to John McBride, and songs such as Swingin' doors, and Phones are ringin' all over town, reflect ... Come Hold MeSearch: Born To Love You by: The Forester Sisters Release Date March 29, 1990 I just love The Forester Sisters. This CD shows how well they harmonize together. Every song on this CD is very good and I would recommend it to any one who loves The Forester Sisters and country music. My favorite song on the CD is "There Better Be Some Tears". The ballad "Old Enough To Know" is a gem also. A very fine CD to anyone's collection, Especially mine. Tom Parker |

The CollectionSearch: Born To Love You by: Martina McBride Release Date July 18, 2006 Because this product came with no image, I purchased "The Collection" without really being sure what I was getting. In short, this package consists of two Martina McBride CD's: "The Way That I Am," containing her signature hit "Independence Day," in addition to the hits "My Baby Loves Me" and "Love #9;" and "Wild Angels," one of her best albums. I highly recommend "The Collection" if the buyer does not have these two albums. In fact, here one is getting two for the price of one. The only drawback is that the liner notes are not included. |
