My husband and I first saw (heard of) Benton Paul at a private concert sponsored by my husband's company last summer in Provo, Utah. We actually went to the concert to see Maren Ord (a canadian singer-songwriter whose albums we love) and Benton Paul was there with her. By the end of the concert, we were as thrilled to have discovered Benton Paul as we were to finally hear Maren in concert. We bought his CD (Wise & the Weak) and it ended up being the best album we purchased all year.
Best songs on the album (in our opinion)
Leave Better
Women Are A Necessary Evil
Here's To The Boys
Wise & The Weak (Album Title)
I actually used the song, "Leave Better" on a video presentation ... Read More:

This is a very nice single. The song Natural is brilliant and shouldn't be ignored. Natural is my defitition of song, I absolutley love it!
The first track is Natural (Spike Mix), but it's the same thing as the original Natural. That's not a problem though. Natural is a great song with Rachel Stevens on lead. It has a bit of an R&B feel to it, and is mid-tempo.
Track two is a combination of snippets from the new S Club 7 album (at that time) '7'. You hear thirty seconds of each song: Reach, Cross My Heart, Bring The House Down, and Best Friend. They're all great and give you a real feel for each song.
If you liked this single, definitley pick up S Club 7's album titled '7'. All of the songs you hear on ... Read More:

Unlike the huge names, collections by Allen are not many - plenty of his opera performances are recorded, but there are only a few collections. My voice teacher recommended I listen to him to understand better how to deliver power without weight, something we've been working on. Yes, it's all in English, but that's fine, and the quality of Allen's instrument comes through very well.

I am writing this review of Bonnie Raitt's The Glow. This album is one of the best cd's of Bonnie Raitt's that I own. In the late 1980's, when this album first came out I didn't hear any of it. Just recently I purchased it and put it on my stereo I was totally blown away!!! This is one of the best rock and roll/ Blues cd's!! The song I, Thank You took me by surprise. It reminded me of some of the songs on Sweet Forgiveness. Bonnie's voice is so mellow and bluesy all in one. Thankyou, Bonnie for recording such a wonderful cd full of Rock,Rhythm and
Blues!! Jane Elizabeth Hames

Viktor Krauss' sophomore release is a good listen. While it took some time, I eventually came to adore "Far from Enough." That first release sounded like a Bill Frisell album. With "II," Frisell plays a smaller role as Krauss develops his own sound. Indeed, while Viktor Krauss is known as a bass player, here he also steps out on guitar and keyboard. If you enjoyed "Far From Enough," this album offers instant gratification. In terms of the instrumental tracks, it is more of the same intelligent, Americana groove. Again, the group seldom goes for the jugular, rather the band plays around the periphery, avoiding power solos and catchy hooks. It's the sort of music that works well for active listening but easily blends into the background. Aside from less ... Read More:
