Sorry, I have to say this, the first review I see looks as if the writer put a lot of thought into it, but refers to Vincente Minnelli as Liza's "infamous father." It's really perfectly OK to use an ordinary and useful word like "famous." I trust this was a typo and the writer actually does know what "infamous" means (and really knows Vincente wasn't).

Mellow, tripping, carefree and atmospheric: George Winston makes some really good neo-classical noises on his Love Story CD, without a doubt the most relaxing you are ever likely to listen to. If you are into your heavy stuff this is not your bag; its feather notes tumbling from the piano have nothing of the grandeur of classical tradition, yet avoids being twee. The subtlety of Chopi without his moodyness. Simple, alluring, sexy and serene. Superb.

This album is certainly soulful, joyful, penetrating and relaxing. The music is really easy to listen to, but is complex enough to constantly hold the listener's attention and remain intriguing through each piece. The shakuhachi sounds deeper and more resonating than the western flute, but at the same time it is as delicate and works well with the many combinations of instruments and styles of music that are on this CD. This is a beautiful CD that everyone who likes to diversify their tastes, and unwind with something to take their minds away from the present ought to own.

This CD/tape is in the category of mid-90's vocal hard house, which I happen to like a lot. On the cover the "E" in the word energy is made to look like an ecstasy (sp?) pill, which may further help you categorize this type of music. BUT IT"S NOT "RAVE" MUSIC! It contains songs that sound great and grow on you quickly and that haven't turned up on any of my other Various-artists dance music collections. If you listen to it while jogging or exercising, it can push you to go/do more than usual by it's great progression of songs and movement friendly percussions. It is continually mixed throughout, which is a giant step forward from "100% energy" that had each song ending before the next one begins. I bought it on tape ... Read More:

I own all these three CD's and I can tell you they are great! They shouldn't miss from anyone's collection who loves dance music. All songs on these CD's are very good, and they are mixed continuously, so if you have a party, there's no stopping. Go ahead and own them for yourself!
