Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is quite possibly the most popular film to ever come out of Bollywood and the singing and dancing is unquestionably the best I've ever seen in any film. If you love this movie as I do you simply must own the soundtrack. The music is outstanding, capturing all the pagentry and emotion of the film. You will be bouncing and gyrating around the house whether you understand Hindi or not. The passion and beauty of this music is truly universal.

Warning: Don't let the neighbors see you when you start getting into 'Shava Shava.' They will think you've finally lost it!

This LA-based Latino group's really hit their stride with their third CD. If you like Carlos Santana and or War, you're going to love this group. Their messages of racial unity and peace are great and there's not a downbeat song on this CD.

"Love and Hope" is the song I first heard from Ozo, but it came from a local radio station (KGSR-Austin Broadcast CD). I've since picked up "Street Signs" and plan to keep getting as much of Ozo I can.

Ludovico is a quintessential example of a proponent of the neo-classical style of music, the natural development of late romantic efforts of Erik Satie and his peers. Ludovico's music is often musically fairly simplistic and technically not difficult in many cases, but this is by no means a comment on his talent. This is the fourth album I've enjoyed from Afro Celts; their blend of African rhythms and Celtic instrumentation is a joy, and never becomes boring - I've used this music as background in my classes, and my students inevitably ask me where they can get it! You can get lost in these songs, and catch yourself humming the melodies long after. I highly recommend any and all of their music to fans of ambient and world music.

Heard Bel El Madhi (The Gate Of The Past) on Link.TV and was intrigued by the wonderful melody. Bought the CD. Loved it. Bought the other three that have been issued by this great Algerian group. Even bought some more to give to friends. THis lady has an absolutely wonderful, clear, crisp and sultry voice.

Aside from possessing a phenomenal voice, she is one of those artists who constantly can re-invent themselves with each new release, freely blending Arabic, western and even eastern influences together to create something new.
