This album must have been played by me over 1,000 times since it was released. The "dark" production and extreme brilliance will never be matched. This is Cypress hill's best album (I have all of them so far). The vocal style, lyrics, excellent production for its time, by far exceeds anything out nowadays. Let's hope to see albums like this in the future, pure hip hop and without a doubt a gem in my collection.

I cant say enough good things about this cd.To me, this and public enemy's apocalypse 91 are the greatest hip hop albums of all time. EVERY track is great on this disc and it is not dated at all, a true classic from the true OG.

This entire album is every bit as infectious as Dr. Dre's productions (The Chronic, Doggystyle). As far as being a "diss" album it's lyrically superior to the Chronic.

I've never cared much for any of Eazy E's other solo albums but this one is a masterpiece.

l once listened to ''Mistadaobolina'' on repeat for almost an hour and it just got better and better. The rest of the album is so-so, but ''Mistadabolina'' is Del's ''Stairway To Heaven''.

Instead of going in depth on each album and describe each album in detail, i'm going to simply rate each album with how many stars I feel each album is worth based on the below criteria. I hope this helps you make a better decision on purchasing this album with a simple individual rating. If it doesn't help read another review.
5 stars- Classic, Album goes beyond description, Perfect in every way, Could remind you of a certain time or place, Lifetime replay value.
4.5 stars- Near Classic, Incredible album, Maybe only one song that is skippable or just overall doesn't quite deserve classic status. High replay value.

Hieroglyphics are a collective of rap artists similar to Wu-Tang or Jurrassic Five, though their neatly organized production would squarely place them more towards the latter. Hardly anyone shouuld accuse this group of not being able to compose admirable rhymes, and for the lengthy 70+ minute run-time, hip-hop fans are treated to the lyrically hungry flows, swapped around by talented members on top of predictable but worthy beats. Now considering this was released in the late 90's, when returning to the disc one does get some excellent old-school (but not THAT old-school) offerings, but many tracks seem to have not aged that well. Long Beach has been for a long time a breeding ground for smokin hip-hop artists and groups. Snoop Dogg gets Goldie Loc and Tray Dee and creates a rap supergroup. Tha Eastsidaz come together for a fully heated debut album. The album features those clean cut G-Funk beats that could only have come out of Long Beach, Cali. In fact, even though the album came out in early 2000, it has the magic and funk of a mid 90's G-Funk era album. DPG and Eastsidaz put the west back on the map with a phat album. Phat tracks like "G'd up" & "Got Beef" got mad radio play out in the west. Other standouts are the smooth "LBC Thang" where the homies rep their city. Howdy America,

I felt this album really lacked the style I've become used to. I think they are riding the glory of their previous acheivements, in truth I'd rate this 2 star or 1 but out of respect for what they did in the past I couldn't. The first track is good, great beat and the sort of thing I've come to expect from this lot. Sadly after that I could be listening to anyone, it's the combination of fast sharp lyrics AND funky instrumentation that makes up their style for me.

Even though I felt like Until The End Of Time was his best posthumous album Im still feeling this one though. Standout tracks on disc1: STILL BALLIN, WHEN WE RIDE ON OUR ENEMIES, CHANGED MAN, NEVER B PEACE, MAMA'S JUST A LITTLE GIRL, STREET FAME, LATE NIGHT, GHETTO STAR, THUGZ MANSION(Nas version) etc. Filler on disc 1: none. Standout tracks on disc 2:THUGZ MANSION, BETTER DAYZ, U CAN CALL, MILITARY MINDS, FAME, CATCHING FEELINGS, THERE U GO(humorous), THIS LIFE I LEAD, WHO DO YOU BELIEVE IN and THEY DONT GIVE A F*** ABOUT US.
