I absolutely love John Legend. In my eyes he can do no wrong. He reminds me of Prince in a lot of ways in his musical genius. He is incredible to watch live and he always delivers a little something extra. He keeps it just as smooth as always on this CD and I love his old school vibe, he always takes me back.

There's a few reasons that Digable Planet's sophomore album "Blowout Comb" is one of my top 10 favorite hip-hop albums ever made. First and foremost, the mix of jazz & hip-hop, in my opinion, is one of the most organic and natural mash-ups of two genres I've ever heard. And one could argue that "Blowout Comb" is the purest mixture of these elements. I saw a review that almost made me not get this CD. It criticized Seal for not having partnered up with Travor Horn as he has in the past. But two thumbs up to Seal. And if you are a die-hard Seal fan like me, you too will enjoy listening to this CD. It's gritty, sensual and has some outstanding club beats too! Seal's soulful sounds are still in tact. He didn't need Trevor.

Ronnie's CD was decent. He has a very versatile voice, however due to bad marketing and contract/ label disputes - he never had the chance to shine the way he should have. This CD has a great remake of Rose Royce's "Next to you" plus the only single to be released, "What are we gonna do" about teenage pregnancy. Give this CD a listen and I'm sure you'll be hooked and begin searching for more music from this kid. He wrote "2000 Watts" on Michael Jackson's INVINCIBLE CD. The song isn't that good but Ronnie's vocals are in the background. If you can find this CD, pick it up - you'll be glad you did.

Back in 1986, when young Janet Jackson took CONTROL of her life,
her music and her personal affairs, I was one of her biggest fans!
I bought all of her CD's, attended every concert tour, and knew every video routine by heart from 1986's "Control" to 1997's "Velvet Rope"!!
After that, she released a greatest hits compliation "Design Of A Decade" with the slamming song "24 Play" on it, and I loved that one too!
But after that, she has, in my opinion, been on a downhill slide as
far as her music's edge and content; relying too much on sampling, repeating her same old (once cutting edge) dance routines, parodying herself on SNL and Will & Grace, and let's not even speak of her "Superbowl Wardrobe Malfunction Fiasco"!! (Umm, right!) ... Read More:
