Some people assume things about this group that are just not true. Yes, these girls somewhat rely on their sex appeal to give them a fan base, however their songs attract women, and are not completely distasteful. Their songs put women first, unlike copycats of theirs who use sex appeal in both their look and their lyrics to turn everyone off. Christina Applegate was the actress who initially stuck with the Pussycat Dolls when they were still a burlesque group, and other actresses like Pamela and Carmen merely passed through to get their chance to become a part of the Pussycat Dolls for a short time, not to fuel their image.

I had the misfortune of being in my latter high school years when this stuff came out. By 1982-83, the beautiful, harmonic, and melodious Soul music of my youth was replaced by this ultra-syntesized soulless high-tech drek which I considered the dawn of the "dark ages of black music." Being able to distinguish between nostalgia and what was actually good, I'm one of the few who does not look on my HS years as any golden age of music.
When Tommy Boy and other record companies found out that (for some strange reason), young people were willing to pay money for what was essentially low-quality pre-programmed beats set to some silly chanting, R&B went on a long downhill slide until the recent advent of the neo Soul movement.

Let's focus on the music. Forget about all the gossip, all the rumors and the BS talk about MJ's personal life. Music is what matters here. King of pop is back, and he rocks!
Invincible opens with "Unbreakable", a great uptempo tune with a nice&groovy background. Michael's trademark singing style is there, intact. Next song is one of my favorite: "Heartbreaker". Lyrics are well written and the music has the punch that all MJ fans like. Invincible (contrary to what all detractors say) is a bout a girl, not a megalomaniac self-proclamation. This album has a lot of paced and reflexive tunes that will get you mesmerized: "Heaven can wait", "Speechless" and "Butterflies" stand up over the rest. "You rock my world" is definitively an impressive ... Read More:

Well after the morbid masterpiece that was "The Velvet Rope", Janet Jackson began the new millennium on a very high note with her second film, "The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps" which went to number #1. Not to mention the soundetrack 's lead single, "Doesn't Really Matter", became Janet's 9th #1 hit on Hot 100 in the summer of 2000. Then a year later, Janet was honored by MTV as the First ever Icon as her 15 year career at that point contributed a lot to pop culture. Then came "All 4 U", Janet's 7th studio album which opened with an incredible 600,000+ in record sales it's first week on sale. It became the superstar's biggest opening week sale ever, much of it being the amazing success of the lead single. But unfornately while "All 4 U" was a commercial ... Read More:

This is a very good CD, I love it, I have played it so much it has started to scratch. I keep it on repeat. Janet did her thing on this song, I heard that Rodney Jerkins Darkchild said that this song was never for Britney that it was written for Janet, so now I guess that answers all of the questions about this song being for Britney, but she did no want it. The song was never for Britney, it was written for Janet!!
